Ad of the Week – NYC Commission on Human Rights

Whilst on a recent trip to New York, a series of ads about sexual harassment caught my eye.

The one I managed to capture (above) had the phrase “It’s just flirting” scribbled out to read “It’s sexual harassment”. There was another variation of it that scribbled out “It’s just a joke” in the same way.

Ad of The Week – Netflix

Netflix’s latest campaign, targeting London tube passengers, exemplifies our binge watching sub-culture and is synonymous with the brand itself.

Binge watching has now spread across all devices. On-the-go viewing via mobile e.g. on the tube, is now something of the ordinary and another opportunity to satisfy one’s Netflix fix.

Ad of the Week- Cancer Research

Earlier this week I walked past two cheery volunteers, raising money for Cancer Research in the run up to World Cancer Day.

Standing on one side of the ticket barriers, they encouraged those entering/exiting the station to donate. What really struck me was that they accepted contactless donations.

I rarely carry cash, and (after watching numbers of commuters donate using their cards) it looked like I wasn’t the only one.
