Business development starts with people in the business
As an agency we are committed to training our talented young account handlers to be the directors of the future. As part of the IPA CPD programme we run a number of internal and external training camps. Yesterday’s session was focused on business development and was the culmination of two months work. The workshop gave the opportunity for the young media planner/buyers to use their skills in identifying business building opportunities for both existing clients and prospective.
The presentations were fresh, unbridled with an abundance of creativity. They demonstrated clarity of thought, delivered compelling insights which were underpinned with sound commercial nous.
New business is the lifeblood of any agency and its young members of staff are the heart that pumps it.
