Ad of the Week – Sony
DDB Berlin have captured everything that makes Sony Bravia’s ads a cut above most other brands. The use of colour, design, cinematography, location and music comes together to create a visual and audio treat. Following on from many of Bravia’s past ads (such as “Balls” in 2005) the emphasis of the ad is on the superior colour and resolution the TV offers. Here we see a church in Romania gradually fill with 4,000 balloons. They all begin to burst covering the church with over 3,000 pounds of multi-coloured glitter. All of this set to Tom Odell covering ‘True Colours’ creates a perfect ad (in my opinion).
