Ad of the Week – Double Decker
I think this is arguably the perfect example of advertising. It shows perfect synchronisation between media planning, media buying and creative teams. It blends two quintessential British brands – the Routemaster bus and Cadburys – to perfect comic effect. The advert is eye catching, memorable and appeals to the British sense of humour. Bus advertisements, to me, can often suffer from not being attention grabbing (as they pass by quickly). This, however, is extremely hard to miss.
