Ad of the Week – Cats Not Ads
My Ad of the Week is a crowd funded campaign, by people bored of seeing adverts on their daily commute – and was done in conjunction with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home (the cats were models – spotted on the catwalk). This tube takeover at Clapham Common is a purrfect example of alternative advertising. It is also really pawsitive to see a community come together and crowd fund a different type of ad. But it does beg the question… are consumers feeling suffocated by standard tube ads? In my opinion this is just a one off – the consensus in the office is that OOH on the Tube is still as strong as ever.
